HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY ROOF INSPECTED?

The frequency of roof inspections depends on factors like your roof's age, material, and local climate. Generally, an annual inspection is recommended, but more frequent checks may be needed if you experience weather damage or other issues. Consult a professional to determine the best schedule for your roof and to address any necessary repairs, helping to ensure its long-term integrity and performance.

HOW LONG WILL MY ROOF LAST?

A roof typically lasts 15-30 years, depending on the material and maintenance. Asphalt shingles last about 20-25 years, while clay tiles can last 40-50 years with proper care. Metal roofs may last over 40 years but can age quicker in harsh conditions. Factors that shorten a roof’s life include poor attic ventilation, improper installation, hail damage, and animal interference. To extend your roof’s lifespan, perform regular maintenance like checking for missing shingles, cleaning gutters, and replacing damaged components. Annual or semi-annual inspections, especially in severe weather areas, can help prevent costly repairs and ensure your roof remains in good condition.
